For the Dragons this weekend, it was yet another lean weekend on the park due to adverse weather conditions. However, the seniors went undefeated this weekend with one team making it on the park and securing the win.
Senior Women's
1st XI: BDCC 2/113 def. Mt Martha 6/111 (Wilson 47)

'The ladies 1st Xl travelled down the Peninsula to Mt Martha to enjoy a great win. Mt Martha batted first making 6/111 off their 40 overs - new player to firsts Annette Simpson-Rial bowled 7 overs 0/15 creating chances, Ash Wilson 1/25(8), Jade Patience 2/19(9), Merrin Pertzel 2/22(10) and Yashvi Pillay 1/13(2) with a great catch.
Yashvi (13 years old) and Pravanya (12) Pillay are nieces of Al Reddy former women's coach so cricket is in their DNA.- they bring amazing intensity & enthusiasm to the field
BDCC reached the target in 15.1 overs 2/113 Mez 26* Kath A13* and Bushy cracking 7 fours & 1 mighty 6 (too lazy to run !!) 47
We now sit in 5th spot on the ladder & play 4th side Frankston next week .
