Senior Men's
The Australia Day long weekend saw a successful return to red ball cricket for our 1st and 2nd XIs. The 1st XI took on reigning premiers Aspendale and restricted them to an achievable total, while the 2nd XI steamrolled Heatherton with the ball. Our 3rd and 4th XIs had well earned rests over the weekend.
1st XI: BDCC vs Aspendaele 211 (Williamson 5/24, P. Lasky 5 catches & match ball)
2nd XI: BDCC 4/52 vs Heatherton 78 (b. Campbell 3/19, G. Meredith 3/14)
Senior Women’s
It was a tough days cricket for our two womens sides with both going down to strong outfits. Knowing the pride the sides take in their performance we are expecting a strong return to form next weekend.
